Christmas light installation in West Linn, Oregon

Lights hung right, in West Linn

West Linn is hills, firs and long driveways, which is a polite way of saying it is the kind of place where a lot of homeowners give up on doing their own lights after one attempt. Three-story elevations above a sloped lot are not a ladder job for somebody who does this once a year.

We plan access before install day here more than anywhere else we work. Where a ladder cannot sit safely, we change the approach rather than the safety margin. If a section of your house genuinely should not be lit, we will tell you at the quote instead of discovering it in November.

The Willamette neighborhood is a favorite of ours. Older street, tighter lots, a lot of houses close enough together that a few lit rooflines in a row make the whole block look intentional.

The stay-lit promise

A bulb goes out in the middle of December and that is our problem to fix, not yours to notice and chase us about. That is the whole promise, and it is why most of our work comes off the same streets twice.

West Linn questions

Can you reach a three-story house in West Linn?
Usually, yes. We assess access at the quote, including slope, landscaping and where a ladder can safely sit. If a specific elevation cannot be reached safely, we tell you up front and propose an alternative rather than taking the risk.
How do you price a West Linn install?
Every house is quoted individually, because it comes down to roofline footage, how many stories, and how much of the property you want lit. What does not change is what the number covers: bulbs, wire, clips, the install, repairs during the season, takedown and storage. No charge for the estimate, and no deposit until you have seen the figure.
When should I book?
September or October. We install in the order deposits come in and the November calendar generally fills before Halloween. Booking in October also gets you the early-season discount.
Do I have to buy the lights?
No. We own the bulbs, socket wire and clips and they are included in your seasonal price. They come back to our shop in January, so you are not storing tubs of lights in the garage either.
Will this damage my roof or gutters?
No. Everything hangs on plastic clips made for shingle edges and gutter lips. We do not staple, nail or drill into fascia, and nothing stays on the house after takedown.
Which parts of West Linn do you cover?
All of it, including Willamette, Robinwood, Bolton, Sunset, Savanna Oaks and Parker Crest, plus the surrounding Clackamas County areas. If you are just outside the city line, ask anyway.
